In collaboration with popular fashion brand minä perhonen, known for the creation of clothing from originally produced fabrics, Creation Gallery G8 presents a forest in its main exhibition space, to be inhabited by strange creatures handmade from minä perhonen fabric offcuts, buttons and ribbon. There’s also children’s workshops available, an archive of minä perhonen products, and a shop to get the lovely tote bags, homeware, stationery and accesories.

Super cute “TERU TERU TOTE”, a tote bag that converts into a cute “TERU TERU BÕZU” (literally “shine shine monk”). Teru Teru Bozu is a little traditional handmade doll made of white paper or cloth that local farmers hung outside of their window by a string. This amulet is supposed to bring good weather and to stop or prevent a rainy day.
I’d like to thank G8 Gallery’ staff who kindly let me shoot this exhibition… ありがとうございます!!
