I’ve shown you my favourite boutiques in Bali and now it’s the turn for the food! Bali has developed a taste for foreign food and it’s home to a wide range of international restaurants and lovely cafes. Most of the restaurants revolve around Seminyak area, but you can also find great spots in other parts of the island.
Eat you way around the island…
GROCER & GRIND is one of Bali’s trendiest cafe and deli. They have 4 cafes around Bali and I had lunch in GG close to Echo Beach (Canggu). Inside, GG is bright and modern and has a very relaxed atmosphere. If you’re looking for a healthy breakfast or an awesome selection of salads, sandwiches, bites and burgers for lunch, this is your place. GG is perfect for a casual bite anytime of day. THE BISTROT is probably one of the most exquisite restaurants in Seminyak. Inside there’s an industrial feel combined with a vintage Parisian brasserie, amazing furniture, impressive chandeliers, antiques and decor all brought to us by Moroccan-born Interior Decorator Zohra Boukhari and her husband Blaise Samoy. The Bistrot is not only about the glamorous decoration but also the food here was delicious. Follow them HERE
BIKU, is built in a historic 150-years old Teak Joglo from East Java and it’s a restaurant, tea lounge, book store and antique shop. A perfect mix of old Indonesia with a modern touch. Great food and friendly service. Don’t forget to try their High Tea and Tea & Tarot. Follow them HERE (Restaurant images courtesy of Biku)
WATERCRESS CAFE, is this rustic, full of color, flavour and goodness cafe in Kerobokan. They are a truly gem in this area with great food and great service. There’s also a beautiful green terrace in the front to enjoy your cup of coffee. Follow them HERE
PETITENGET RESTAURANT & BAR, beautiful food surrounded by exceptional interiors. Loyal to their philosophy “Farm to Fork”, 80% of the produce used in their kitchen is supplied by organic local farms. I was here twice and never disappointed. Follow them HERE (Restaurant photos courtesy of Petitenget Restaurant & Bar)
Makasih Bali (Thanks!) See you next Summer ♡
