True to Shu Uemura’s philosophy, the Japanese brand once again reaffirms its ties with the world of fashion.
The well-known make-up artist and current Artistic Director of the brand, Uchiide Kakuyasu, has launched “Bijoux” the spring new collection (Bijoux means “Jewelry” in French).
This fresh and sparkly collection is inspired by the colors, reflection and glittering of precious stones.
Almost the entire collection is composed of cream products in a lovely range of pastel tones with different textures and flashing effects.
Bijoux collection includes new eyeshadow, blushes, lipsticks, nail polishes, false eyelashes and Swarovski crystal face gems.
Shu Uemura’s collaborations with international artists and designers started back in 2004 and have included stars like Karl Lagerfeld, director Wong Kar-wai, photographer Mika Ninagawa and illustrator OB and the latest collection “Six Hearts Princess” by Takashi Murakami.
Bijoux collection is already on sale in Shu Uemura’s head store in Omotesando Hills.
