Iconic Belgian bakery “Le Pain Quotidien” has finally landed in Tokyo and lunch there tasted as good as ever.
Le Pain Quotidien sells organic bread, fresh light lunches and pastries and cakes in a homey, rustic style.
It’s a joy to walk into the Café…it’s like you’ve entered a French country house, with its light wooden tables, chairs and decor.
Everyone is smiling, the atmosphere is lively and friendly, and their shelves are lined with the delicious pastries, muffins, sandwiches, jams, cookies and chocolates. おいしそう!!
I love their concept of “communal table” the idea of taking a break and sitting at the big table where most people get a little bit friendlier. Something that shows that even in big cities like Tokyo you can still feel like a community.
Definitely a top pick for lunch-goers in Tokyo!
Below my lunch, spinach & cream cheese fritatta + organic salad + ice mint lemonade – ほうれん クリームチーズ フリタータ+オーガニック サラダ +アイスミントレモネード… おいしいい!!
I’d like to thank Le Pain Quotidien’s staff that kindly let me shoot inside their beautiful Cafe… ありがとうございます!!
