Omotesando Koffee (表参道コーヒー)

Omotesando Koffee is a truly hidden gem in trendy Omotesando, but finding it it’s really worth the effort. Omotesando Koffee

This lovely joint sits inside a 62 years old “kominka” (古民家 – traditional Japanese house).

Everything from the coffee store logo to the coffee joint itself and the little sweets (“koffee kashi”) they bake daily it’s shaped as a cube. Owner barista Eiichi Kunitomo was friendly, talkative, and very knowledgeable about coffee. He told me he studied in Osaka and Italy and has been a barista for over 10 years!

My cappuccino with pretty latte art got two thumbs-up!  Highly recommended!

There’s a sweet little courtyard at the entrance with a couple of wood benches where you can sit and savor your coffee if the weather’s good.

Omotesando Koffee This is definitely the kind of place that reminds me why I love going to coffee shops.
